They are a rapidly expanding company, working on some fantastic projects. As part of their expansion, they are looking for a Blending Operative to join them at their busy manufacturing site. Highly competitive salary – with annual salary review Monday to Thursday (8am – 5pm) and Friday (8am – 12:30pm) 25 days annual holiday increasing with tenure Simply Health Performance-related bonus scheme Free car parking Contributory pension scheme Life assurance Occupational sick pay Unum – Help At Hand Cycle to work scheme Key Responsibilities of the Blending Operative: Start-up & mixing for all tanks Understanding of documentation for making batches Operating machinery (mixer scales, meters, pumps, FLT’s etc) Monitoring raw material usage on each blend, ensure the correct weights are added Ensuring all raw materials returned to stock have the correct quality and information on containers Testing all water solutions from storage tanks for Ph and conductivity Ensuring efficient and safe unloading of all chemicals and bulk solvent deliveries into designated areas. Accurate completion of all paperwork, including batch documentation. Skills & Experience Required: Current FLT licence Previous experience within a manufacturing environment Experience of working in chemicals or blending Self-motivated, organised with a positive “can-do” attitude. Good communication skills Ability to work as part of a team What\’s Next?
