Pioneer Talent is recruiting a Registered Manager for a Good-rated independent fostering agency based in Warwickshire. This is a rare opportunity to take genuine ownership of an Ofsted-registered IFA at a pivotal point in its growth. We are looking for an RM who will run the service as their own (with loads of support!), grow the carer base across the Mids and lead the agency toward Outstanding. The role is largely home-based with Teams-based team meetings, in a trust-based, flexible working arrangement. A part-time start scaling to full-time is available for the right candidate.

Key responsibilities:

  • Hold Ofsted registration as RM of the IFA
  • Own and maintain full regulatory compliance Fostering Services Regulations 2011, National Minimum Standards, Children Act
  • Oversee the SSW team: carer supervision, safeguarding, allegations, complaints, matching
  • Quality-assure assessments, reviews and panel documentation
  • Drive carer recruitment, assessment, approval and retention
  • Lead team meetings and reflective practice
  • Provide management reporting to the RI and board on placements
