Pioneer Talent is proud to be partnering with a leading not-for-profit care charity to recruit an exceptional Clinical Deputy Manager for one of their care homes in West Sussex.
This is a pivotal clinical leadership appointment, joining the home's leadership team to share clinical oversight across the home, support registered nurses and nursing practice, and β on occasion β deputise for the Home Manager while working in a clinical capacity to support residents' needs.
The role
As Clinical Deputy Manager, you will:
- Assess, plan, implement and evaluate person-centred care plans
- Deliver high-quality clinical care to residents
- Provide shift-by-shift leadership for the nursing team
- Support and develop nursing staff through reflective practice and personal development plans
- Participate in the recruitment of clinical staff
- Collate and analyse data to drive nursing standards
- Work proactively with the Home Manager to uphold and enhance nursing standards across the home
About you
Pioneer Talent is keen to speak with clinical nurse leaders who bring:
- Current NMC registration with a minimum of 2 years' post-graduate experience
- At least 12 months in a senior position within a care home setting
- A strong understanding of clinical governance and the CQC assessment framework
- Experience of advancing frailty, long-term conditions, end-of-life care and dementia support
- A flexible, hands-on approach with evidence of continuing professional development
- The ability to inspire and lead by example
