A growing specialist care provider is looking for a commercially sharp senior leader to drive its next phase of growth across adult social care.

The Role

As Head of Business Development & Partnerships you'll own the organisation's Growth Strategy and work directly with the Executive Leadership Team to open new services, win new contracts and build the partnerships that allow the organisation to support more people.

You'll operate across commissioning, housing, health and social care systems — identifying unmet need, influencing service development and positioning the organisation as a trusted strategic partner in specialist adult social care.

  • What You'll Be Doing
  • Own and deliver the organisation's Growth Strategy.
  • Identify sustainable growth opportunities across supported living, residential and specialist community services, including new geographical areas.
  • Build trusted relationships with Local Authorities, ICBs, NHS organisations, commissioners and housing providers.
  • Maintain a robust pipeline and lead high-quality tenders, proposals and business cases.
  • Lead commercial negotiations, then work with operational teams to mobilise new services and contracts.
  • Act as an active member of the Senior Leadership Team, championing innovation and person-centred service design.
  • What You'll Bring
  • The Head of Business Development & Partnerships we're looking for will have:
  • Significant senior leadership experience in business development, strategic partnerships, commissioning or growth within health or adult social care.
  • A proven track record of securing new business and delivering sustainable growth.
  • Established relationships with Local Authorities, NHS organisations, ICBs and commissioners.
  • Demonstrable success leading tender submissions and competitive procurement.
  • A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across operational regions.

Experience in learning disability, autism, mental health, complex care or supported living services is desirable, not essential.

  • What's On Offer
  • £70,000 – £90,000 plus a generous and highly achievable bonus.
  • A genuinely influential seat at the top table of a values-led care provider.
  • The chance to build partnerships and services that change lives for people with complex needs.
