A large Blue-Chip food manufacturing organisation are currently recruiting for a Front Line Fleet Manager to join their operation in West Bromwich. As a Front Line Fleet Manager you will be responsible for leading and developing a team of HGV technicians, maintaining high levels of health & safety as well as ensuring the fleet operations safely, efficiently and with full compliance. This is a fantastic role with a market leading organisation within the food industry.
Skills required for a Fleet Manager:
- Experience of leading a small team of HGV Technicians, focussing on good working practices and continuous improvement.
- Previous experience and a qualified vehicle technician.
- Demonstrate high levels of health & safety and compliance standards.
- Skilled in analysing data to drive informed decisions.
- Highly organised, with strong planning, prioritisation and problem solving skills.
- A confident communicator who ensures first class communication with Transport and Warehouse departments.
