I am currently recruiting for a FMCG business with a close-knit, family-feel culture and a supportive working environment. The company places real value on teamwork, approachability and a strong work ethic, and is looking to recruit a Multi-Skilled Engineer to join their team. This role is open to engineers with either a mechanical or electrical bias. More importantly, the business is looking for someone with a can-do attitude, who is willing to get stuck in, work collaboratively, and contribute positively to the team.

As a Multi-Skilled Engineer, you will play a key role in maintaining and improving production equipment to maximise efficiency, reliability and safety, working closely with the Engineering Manager and production teams in a fast-paced FMCG environment.

Essential requirements of Multi Skilled Engineer:

  • Multi-skilled engineering background with either a mechanical or electrical bias
  • Relevant engineering qualifications
  • Proven experience carrying out PPMs and responding effectively to breakdowns
  • Strong fault-finding skills across production and process equipment
  • Proactive, can-do attitude with a willingness to learn and support the wider team
