Maintenance Engineer
to join a well-established and successful manufacturing business based in the Basingstoke area. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Maintenance Engineer looking to join a stable and growing business offering a competitive salary, excellent shift pattern and opportunities for further training and development. The successful Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across a range of production machinery, responding to breakdowns and working closely with the wider engineering and production teams to maximise equipment reliability. Responsibilities of the Maintenance Engineer:
Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across production machinery and equipment. Respond to machinery breakdowns and complete reactive maintenance. Fault find and diagnose electrical and mechanical issues. Complete repairs efficiently to minimise production downtime. Support continuous improvement and machinery reliability initiatives. Work closely with production teams to ensure equipment remains operational. Complete engineering documentation and maintenance records. Maintain high standards of Health & Safety. Support engineering projects and equipment improvements where required. Skills Required:
Previous experience as a
Maintenance Engineer, Multi-Skilled Engineer, Electrical Engineer or Mechanical Engineer . Strong electrical and/or mechanical engineering background. Experience within a
manufacturing, production or FMCG environment . Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills. Experience carrying out both planned and reactive maintenance. Comfortable working a
Panama 2s & 3s Days & Nights
shift pattern. Relevant engineering qualification would be advantageous. The Maintenance Engineer Will Benefit From:
