An exciting opportunity has become available for an Engineering Team Leader to join a growing heavy industrial manufacturing business that continues to invest in its people, engineering function and production facilities. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on engineering professional to lead the shift engineering team while continuing to carry out electrical and mechanical maintenance.
The successful Engineering Team Leader will:
- Delegate and prioritise engineering workload
- Coordinate breakdown response and planned maintenance
- Support production and drive engineering, safety and housekeeping standards across the site
Non-Negotiable Requirements:
- Apprentice trained or NVQ Level 3 qualified (or equivalent)
- Multi-Skilled Engineer with strong electrical and mechanical skills
- Manufacturing background
Requirements:
- Strong electrical fault-finding experience
- Experience carrying out reactive breakdowns and planned preventative maintenance
- Previous experience leading or supervising an engineering team
- Experience working on industrial plant and production machinery
- Continuous Improvement and Root Cause Analysis experience
- Strong fault-finding skills across electrical and mechanical equipment
Desirable Requirements:
- Comfortable working at heights
- Physically fit and able to work within a demanding industrial environment
- Welding and fabrication experience
- Food, FMCG, Agricultural or Heavy Industrial manufacturing experience
