A well-established industrial manufacturer in Gainsborough is looking to add an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to its engineering team. This is a Monday-to-Friday days role with a strong focus on electrical reliability, fault finding and controls, working across a wide range of production equipment and site infrastructure.

You will carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance, diagnose PLC and control-system faults and support more complex breakdowns across the plant. The role also offers plenty of involvement beyond day-to-day maintenance, including electrical installations, equipment upgrades and continuous improvement projects aimed at increasing reliability and reducing downtime.

Non-Negotiable Requirements:

  • Level 3 Electrical Engineering qualification.
  • Electrical maintenance experience within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with three-phase systems, drives and electrical control circuits.

Requirements:

  • Carrying out planned and reactive electrical maintenance across plant equipment.
  • Hardware and PLC fault-finding to maximise equipment uptime.
  • Reading electrical drawings, technical manuals and wiring diagrams.
  • Completing electrical installations, upgrades and improvement projects.
  • Supporting shift engineers with equipment breakdowns and technical issues.
  • Recording maintenance activity and spare-parts usage through a CMMS.

Desirable Requirements:

  • PLC fault-finding or programming experience.
  • Experience with Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi or Pilz control systems.
  • HNC in Electrical Engineering.
  • SAP CMMS experience.
  • MEWP or confined-space training.

The Electrical Maintenance Engineer will benefit from:
