An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Lead Engineer to join a large client within the manufacturing sector with fast-paced but large industrial machinery. This is a balanced role, where the lead engineer's time will be split 50% planning and coordination (office-based) and 50% hands-on engineering support on site.
As Lead Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring plant uptime, reliability, and team effectiveness across a very large site where strong organisation, visibility, and leadership are essential.
Skills required for the Lead Engineer:
- Electrical Engineering Background and Electrical Bias
- PLC Fault Finding Experience
- Understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, AC/DC drives
- Experience working in a manufacturing background
- Leadership experience or the aspiration to want leadership
- Electrical Engineering Qualification
The Lead Engineer will benefit from:
