The Role

You'll be responsible for ensuring the continuous operation of site equipment and machinery, responding to breakdowns, and carrying out planned preventative maintenance. This is a practical role with real responsibility and variety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to mechanical breakdowns and assist with machine adjustments
  • Diagnose and repair faults efficiently
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance
  • Maintain and improve building fabric
  • Keep the workshop clean, organised, and tools controlled
  • Complete all relevant documentation accurately
  • Liaise with managers to help implement and uphold site procedures
  • Deputise for the Chief Engineer when required, including basic clerical duties

About You

  • A hands-on Maintenance Engineer with a mechanical bias (up to 70/30)
  • Qualified in Engineering (electrical or mechanical background considered)
  • Motivated, reliable, and takes pride in their work
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
  • Open to candidates from a wide range of backgrounds, including non-UK and Forces

4:00am – 12:00pm
37.5 hours per week
