PRODUCTION SHIFT MANAGER Job Title – Production Shift Manager
Location – Thatcham, Berkshire
Salary – £45,000 + 7.5% shift allowance (OTE c. £48,375) + bonus 3-5%
Shift – Sunday – Thursday, 11:00pm – 7:00am (40 hours) -Nightshift
Job Role of the Production Shift Manager A fantastic opportunity which is not to be missed for a strong, hands-on Production Shift Manager to join a well-established and reputable food manufacturing business. This is a fast-paced, high-volume site supplying major retailers and the catering industry.
This role is 70% hands-on / 30% desk-based, so we're looking for a Shift Manager who can lead from the front, drive standards on the shop floor, and ensure production targets, safety and hygiene requirements are consistently met.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of Production Line/Cell Leaders and staff, ensuring labour and work is allocated to gain maximum efficiencies, whilst contributing to continuous improvement through data gathering, analysis and action planning.
Sector – Food Manufacturing / Production Management
Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Production Shift Manager Food manufacturing experience (essential)
Minimum 2 years' supervisory/managerial experience in a production/manufacturing environment
Desirable Requirements for the Production Shift Manager NEBOSH / IOSH (or similar H&S qualification)
BRC experience
High-care / ambient food manufacturing exposure
