Are you an experienced Maintenance Engineer looking for your next challenge? We are seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Engineer to join our fast-paced team on permanent night shifts. The Role:
As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient running of our production equipment through both planned and reactive maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carrying out fault finding, diagnostics and repairs on mechanical and electrical equipment
- Conducting preventative maintenance to minimise downtime
- Ensuring all work is carried out safely and complies with company and legal standards
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and contributing to equipment upgrades and installations
- Keeping accurate records of maintenance work using the company's CMMS
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer in a manufacturing, production, or industrial environment
- Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills
- Relevant engineering qualifications (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent)
- Ability to work independently on night shifts and respond effectively to breakdowns
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
