Job Description

Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

£38,000

Shift: Mixture of earlies, days, lates and some weekends. x3 months out of the year it is just straight Monday – Friday days.

** NO NIGHT WORK **

My client based in Blackpool are searching for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join their team on a unique shift pattern consisting of earlies, days. lates and some weekend work. During x3 months out of the year you will work Monday to Friday only (8 hour shifts). Duties include planned and reactive maintenance, ensuring downtime is kept to a minimum and safety is the number one priority.

The successful Mechanical Maintenance Engineer must be either apprentice trained or have a Level 3 NVQ, BTEC or ONC in Mechanical Engineering. You must also have a strong industrial background and have full rights to work in the UK.

Requirements for the Mechanical Maintenance Engineer:

  • Mechanical bias
  • Previous experience working as a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer in an industrial environment
  • Minimum Level 3 Mechanical qualification or be apprentice trained
  • Industrial background
  • Must have full rights to work in the UK
  • Must have previous UK experience working as a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer
