We are looking for an experienced and motivated Mechanical Fitter to join our team. This role involves repairing and maintaining a range of industrial rotating equipment, including AC & DC motors, motorized gearboxes, pumps, fan units, generators, and other associated machinery. Work is split between 80% workshop-based repairs and 20% on-site servicing.

Key Responsibilities for the Mechanical Fitter:

  • Diagnose faults, dismantle, and repair industrial equipment.
  • Test, inspect, and service motors, pumps, and gearboxes.
  • Handle a wide variety of components, from small fan units to large-scale industrial motors.
  • Provide clear fault reports and relay findings to management.
  • Occasionally travel to client sites using a company vehicle (site work experience & CCNSG passport advantageous).
  • Maintain high health and safety standards.

Requirements for the Mechanical Fitter:

  • Experience in repairing rotating electrical & mechanical equipment.
  • Ability to fault find, identify worn components, and rectify issues.
  • Some electrical testing knowledge of AC & DC motors (training & verification provided).
  • Strong mechanical engineering background.
  • Flexible approach to work within a fast-paced, service-driven environment.
  • A proactive team player with the ability to work independently.
