Maintenance Manager – £55,000 + Benefits

We are seeking a hands-on Maintenance Manager to lead and develop a growing engineering team within a fast-paced production environment. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced leader to make a real impact, with scope to build and shape the department as the business expands.

The Role:

  • Manage and support a team of Engineers (currently 2, with plans for rapid growth).

  • Provide technical guidance on mechanical and electrical maintenance.

  • Work closely with Production Managers to deliver effective PPM schedules and ensure smooth operations.

  • Organise call-out rotas and coordinate engineering support across multiple shifts.

  • Take an active role in recruitment, setting KPIs, and team development.

  • Drive continuous improvement, safety, and compliance across the site.

The Candidate:

  • Proven leadership and team management experience.

  • Strong background in maintenance engineering with relevant qualifications.

  • Experience in a process-driven environment.

  • A firm but fair management style, motivated by coaching and developing others.

Package & Benefits:

  • £55,000 per annum (review pending)

  • Standard pension + sick pay

  • 28 days holiday (including bank holidays, Christmas & New Year off)

  • Monday to Friday, 8am–5pm (42.5 hours per week)
