A proactive and electrically biased Maintenance Engineer is required to join a well-established engineering team at a fully automated, SCADA-controlled production site operating 24/7. You will work as part of a team of 3 engineers per shift, ensuring plant and equipment run reliably and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out reactive and planned maintenance on a wide range of plant and machinery
- Support optimal machine performance and reduce downtime
- Perform routine site walkarounds for general facility checks (leaks, alarms, switches)
- Mechanical work including replacing beater bars, bearings, chains, belts, sprockets, and ensuring proper alignment
- Assist in commissioning new production lines
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Electrically biased with strong mechanical competence
- Electrical Qualification
- PLC fault-finding experience
- Comfortable working at height and in physically demanding conditions
- Experience in a manufacturing or FMCG environment
