Maintenance Engineer
We are currently seeking a proactive and experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to support and maintain a site with modern automated machinery. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who can hit the ground running, contribute to continuous improvement, and work as part of a well-established engineering team.
You will be working alongside a team of engineers, reporting directly to the Engineering Manager, and playing a key role in maintaining high standards of safety, efficiency, and reliability across the operation.
Key Responsibilities

Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive breakdowns

Maintain and repair automated and conveyor-based machinery

Support continuous improvement initiatives

Diagnose and fault-find on both mechanical and electrical systems

Ensure all work is completed in line with health & safety regulations

Work efficiently to minimise downtime and support production targets

Technical Requirements
Electrical (approx. 40%):

Fault finding on sensors, relays, motors

Experience with single and three-phase systems

PLC fault finding (inputs/outputs, not programming)
Mechanical (approx. 60%):

Bearings, belts, chains, gearboxes

Pneumatics

Welding and basic machining
Machinery Experience:

Strong conveyor experience is essential

Shift Pattern
Rotating shifts:

Week 1: 6am – 2pm
