You will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative and reactive maintenance across a wide range of production and site equipment. You will play a key role in responding to breakdowns, diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults, and ensuring machinery is operating at maximum efficiency.
Working closely with the production and engineering teams, you will be expected to identify recurring faults, implement effective solutions and contribute towards continuous improvement across the site.
- Non-Negotiable Requirements:
- Electrical maintenance experience within an industrial manufacturing environment.
- Hands-on experience carrying out planned preventative, reactive and breakdown maintenance within a fast-paced production environment.
- Recognised Level 3 Engineering qualification or equivalent.
- Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding experience.
- Requirements:
- Hands-on electrical fault-finding experience.
- Experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults.
- Experience working with production machinery and industrial equipment.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to maintenance.
- Experience working with CMMS or maintenance management systems.
- PLC fault-finding and interrogation experience would be advantageous.
- Ability to work effectively as part of an engineering and production team.
- Desirable Requirements:
- Experience working as a Maintenance Engineer within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with PLC fault finding and interrogation.
- Experience working within an FMCG or high-volume production environment.
- Experience with continuous improvement and equipment reliability projects.
