A large Blue-Chip food manufacturing organisation are currently recruiting for a Vehicle Maintenance Technician to join their operation in Lincoln. Working on a Monday – Friday, Days shift pattern, you will be required to complete planned maintenance and repair duties to the vehicles, trailers, and ancillary equipment on site in line with agreed schedules and operating procedures. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a market leader in the food industry and develop your career further.
Skills required for a Vehicle Maintenance Technician:
- Have experience of working on LGVs or any large type of vehicle (Forces candidates are very suitable).
- Experience in LGV Fleet maintenance operations along with any City & Guilds qualifications.
- Demonstrate a flexible approach to work.
- Demonstrate a ‘Safety First' approach at all times.
- Experience of working on equipment such as brake discs, lights and some wiring.
- Ideally have some inspection experience.
