FIELD SERVICE ENGINEER (ELECTRICAL BIAS)Job Title: Field Service Engineer (Electrical Bias)Location: South East of EnglandSalary: £58,000 - £62,000Shift: Panama Days And NightsJob Role of the Field Service EngineerAn excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Field Service Engineer with an electrical bias to join a well-established and growing business. This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys working independently, travelling to customer sites, and providing first-class service on a variety of automated conveyor systems and material handling equipment.
You will be responsible for carrying out electrical fault finding, servicing, preventative maintenance, breakdown repairs, and installations across customer sites, ensuring equipment is operating safely and efficiently while delivering excellent customer service.
Sector - Field Service / Material Handling / Conveyor SystemsNon-Negotiable Requirements of the Field Service EngineerProven experience working as a Field Service Engineer or Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias.
Hands-on experience working on conveyor systems is essential.
Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills. Experience carrying out planned, reactive, and breakdown maintenance.
Full UK driving licence.
Requirements for the Field Service EngineerRecognised electrical engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, HNC/HND or equivalent).Experience working with conveyors, automated material handling systems, or production equipment.
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings.
Excellent fault-finding skills on electrical control systems. Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with customers.
Willingness to travel and work independently.

Requirements for the Field Service EngineerExperience working with PLC-controlled conveyor systems. Previous field service experience within the UK.Mechanical maintenance and repair experience.
Experience within logistics, warehousing, manufacturing, or distribution environments.
