Salary: £38,000 - £43,000, (Realistic OTE = £45,000 - £50,000)

Location: North Scotland Patch - (Aberdeen, Inverness, Fort William, Peterhead)

Hours: Monday to Friday - 40 Hour Week (on average 5-10 Hours overtime per week guaranteed)

Currently representing a market-leading materials handling business that is looking to appoint an experienced Field Service Team Leader to oversee and support a team of field service engineers responsible for the maintenance and repair of Forklift Trucks and other MHE equipment across customer sites.

As a Field Service Team Leader, you will lead by example, balancing hands-on technical work with your designated clients alongside team coordination. Team leader priorities will be ensuring efficient service delivery, mentoring engineers, and maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction. You will enjoy autonomy in your role with the support of a strong technical management team and continued manufacturer training.

Key Requirements of the Field Service Team Leader:

  • Proven engineering background with FLT, Mobile Plant, HGV, or Industrial Vehicle experience.
  • Strong technical skills in Electrical, Mechanical, and Hydraulic systems.
  • Recognised engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent).
  • Previous leadership, supervisory, or mentoring experience in an engineering role.
  • Full UK Driving Licence is essential.
