I am currently working with a large FMCG manufacturer that forms part of a national group, to recruit a Maintenance Engineer for their new manufacturing site. This is an exciting opportunity to join a business at an early stage of site growth, offering long-term development and the chance to progress your engineering career within a market-leading organisation. The company is open-minded in their approach and is keen to speak with mechanically or electrically biased engineers, whether junior or experienced, who are motivated to learn, develop, and grow with the site as it continues to expand.
As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting the maintenance and reliability of modern production and packaging equipment, carrying out both planned preventative maintenance and reactive fault-finding. You will work closely with the engineering and production teams to ensure minimal downtime and continuous improvement across the site.
Essential Requirements - Maintenance Engineer:- Mechanical or Electrical bias
- Engineering qualification (Level 3 or equivalent preferred)
- Open to junior or experienced engineers
- Ideally from an Industrial Engineering Background
- Forces are welcome
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills
- Experience or interest in PPMs and reactive maintenance
- Strong attitude, good communication skills, and a team-focused approach
- Salary between Β£30,000 - Β£45,000 depending on skills and experience
