4 on 4 off shift pattern – 6am-6pm & 6pm-6am | 40 hours per week

We are currently looking for reliable and motivated Intake Operatives to join a fast-growing food manufacturing site in North Scarle (LN6 area).

This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in ensuring that raw materials and packaging are received, checked, and stored correctly to keep production running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Unloading pallet deliveries and assisting with weighbridge intake procedures

  • Using computer systems to check silo capacity and support drivers during deliveries

  • Carrying out intake checks in line with Technical Acceptance Requirements

  • Collecting and correctly labelling product samples

  • Ensuring deliveries are labelled and stored in designated areas

  • Acting as a Banksman for drivers (training provided)

  • Supporting with fresh and frozen goods intake and documentation

  • Maintaining GMP and BRC Standards to keep the site clean and safe

  • Assisting with stock rotation to ensure oldest products are used first

  • Preparing packaging for production and pre-batching premixes for the mill

  • Feeding product to the mill daily to support production

  • Providing limited cover for the Intake Coordinator when required

  • A valid Forklift Licence
