MECHANICAL MAINTENANCE ENGINEER Job Title – Mechanical Maintenance Engineer Location – Fort William / Corpach, Scotland (PH33) Salary: £44,761 (equates to £19.29/hour) Shift: Continental-style rota: 4 nights on / 3 off, 3 days on / 1 off, 3 nights on / 3 off, 4 days on, then 1 week off (repeat) + 10-day Christmas shutdown Company: Leading UK manufacturing business Job Role of the Mechanical Maintenance Engineer. You will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance, fault-finding and repairs across a variety of industrial equipment, ensuring maximum uptime and efficiency in a fast-paced environment. Machinery: hydraulic rollers, saws, chippers, conveyor systems (roller & chain conveyors), steam kiln. Faults: Mechanical – hydraulics, pneumatics, bearings, belts, gearboxes, chains Electrical (basic) – sensors, motors Sector – Industrial / Manufacturing Maintenance Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Mechanical Maintenance Engineer Mechanical maintenance experience within an industrial / manufacturing environment Requirements for the Mechanical Maintenance Engineer.
