I am currently working with a large, well-established FMCG manufacturer, recognised as a market leader and known for operating state-of-the-art, highly automated production equipment, to recruit a Nights Maintenance Engineer for their flagship UK site.

This is an excellent opportunity for a mechanically or electrically biased maintenance engineer to join a business that genuinely invests in its people, technology, and long-term site development. As a Nights Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving a wide range of modern production and packaging machinery, ensuring equipment reliability, safety, and performance throughout the night shift. Working closely with production teams and reporting into the Engineering Manager, you will carry out both planned preventative maintenance and reactive breakdown support on high-speed FMCG equipment.

Essential Requirements - Nights Maintenance Engineer:
  • Mechanical or Electrical bias
  • Minimum Level 3 Engineering Qualification
  • Ideally apprentice trained
  • Proven experience in planned preventative maintenance and reactive breakdowns
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills on production / process machinery
  • Proactive, hands-on approach with a strong team mentality
