An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Mobile Plant Fitter to join a well-established and growing engineering business covering multiple sites across Central and North Scotland. This is a field-based, day-shift role offering excellent work-life balance and the opportunity to work independently across a varied and interesting workload.

You will be responsible for the service, maintenance, and repair of a wide range of mobile and heavy plant equipment on customer sites. This is a great opportunity for a skilled Plant Fitter looking for a stable days-based role with autonomy and variety.

Sector: Heavy Plant / Industrial Engineering

Non-Negotiable Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Mobile Plant Fitter or Plant Engineer.
  • Strong mechanical fault-finding and repair skills.
  • Experience working on heavy plant, construction, or industrial machinery.
  • Full UK driving licence.

Essential Requirements:

  • Mechanical engineering background.
  • Experience with servicing, maintenance, and breakdown repair of plant equipment.

Desirable Requirements:

  • Basic electrical fault-finding knowledge.
  • Previous experience in a mobile/field-based engineering role.
  • Relevant mechanical engineering qualification (NVQ or equivalent).
