A fast-paced manufacturing business within the manufacturing sector is looking to recruit a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias) to support ongoing production at a high-output site. This role is ideal for an engineer with strong electrical fault-finding skills and solid mechanical experience, working within a modern factory environment.
Daily Duties:
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive breakdowns
- Supporting a fast-moving manufacturing operation
- Fault-finding and maintaining machinery
- Replacement and maintenance of 3-phase motors, pumps, and associated equipment
- Working across electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Diagnosing and resolving faults efficiently to minimise downtime
- Electrical work accounting for approximately 60% of the role
Skills & Experience Required:
- Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer with electrical bias (60/40 electrical/mechanical)
- Strong fault-finding ability across electrical and mechanical systems
- Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, drives, inverters, sensors, and PLCs
- Background in a manufacturing environment
- Level 3 Engineering Qualification (or equivalent)
- Packaging or thermoforming experience highly desirable
- Must have UK-based experience (no sponsorship available)
