We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a highly reputable and well-established industrial company at their site in Mitcham. This is a fantastic opportunity for a technically Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a forward-thinking business, where you will be involved in a wide variety of engineering tasks focused on electrical systems, Motors, Fault Finding in Control Panels, VFDs etc

The company operates in a highly regulated, safety-critical environment and is known for investing in their staff and infrastructure. This role will suit someone from a heavy industrial, utilities, or process plant background who thrives on fault-finding, maintenance, and continuous improvement.

Skills required for the Electrical Maintenance Engineer:

  • Electrical Qualification Level 3

  • Electrical Skills with Motors, VFDs, Contactors, Relays, Sensors, Fault Finding etc

  • Knowledge of PLCs would be fantastic
  • Experience in Industrial Factories

  • Excellent fault-finding and diagnostic skills.

The Electrical Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for:

  • Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on electrical and instrumentation systems.

  • Troubleshooting of Electro-mechanical systems

  • Maintaining and updating documentation

  • Supporting plant upgrades, shutdowns, and new installations.

  • Working closely with engineers and operations teams to resolve issues.
