We are recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established FMCG manufacturing site in Durham. This is a great opportunity for an engineer looking for a stable, days-based role within a fast-moving and supportive production environment.
The Role
- Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on manufacturing equipment
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and/or electrical faults
- Supporting continuous improvement and reliability projects
- Installation and commissioning of machinery where required
- Ensuring compliance with health & safety standards
- Completing maintenance documentation and reports
About You
- Previous experience in an FMCG or high-volume manufacturing environment
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Mechanical or Electrical bias (multi-skilled preferred)
- An engineering qualification (NVQ, City & Guilds, Apprenticeship or equivalent)
- A proactive and team-oriented mindset
