The Role
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a
Maintenance Engineer
to join a well-established and growing business in Cardiff. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer looking to join a busy, fast-paced environment with strong earning and development potential. The position offers a
starting salary of £42,000 , with a structured
salary banding system offering progression up to £50,000 per annum
as you develop within the role. Working on a
4 on 4 off Days & Nights
shift pattern, you will become part of an experienced engineering team responsible for ensuring maximum machinery reliability and keeping downtime to a minimum. As the Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out
planned and reactive maintenance , attending machinery breakdowns, fault finding and supporting continuous improvement across the site.
Skills Required
The successful Maintenance Engineer will ideally have: Previous experience working as a
Maintenance Engineer
Experience within a
manufacturing, production or industrial environment
Strong electrical and/or mechanical fault-finding skills
Experience carrying out
PPM and reactive maintenance
Ability to diagnose and repair machinery breakdowns
A recognised engineering qualification
Experience working with automated production machinery would be advantageous
