This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established manufacturing business operating within a fast-paced production environment supplying into the construction and building products sector. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving continuous improvement activity across manufacturing processes, operational performance, productivity, waste reduction and workflow optimisation.
Working as part of the central Business Improvement team, the role will focus on embedding a stronger continuous improvement culture across site, working closely with operational leaders and shop floor teams to deliver measurable operational improvements. The role will suit a hands-on Continuous Improvement professional who enjoys balancing shop floor involvement with project-based improvement work and is comfortable influencing teams within a traditional manufacturing environment.
Non-Negotiable Requirements- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt minimum
- Minimum 10 years' practical Continuous Improvement / Operational Improvement experience
- Manufacturing or production environment background
- Proven experience delivering measurable operational improvements
- Strong operational understanding alongside CI capability
- Experience driving productivity, quality, waste and process improvements
- Strong stakeholder engagement and shop floor communication skills
- Experience analysing operational data and KPIs
- Ability to influence teams and drive cultural change
- Comfortable working within legacy manufacturing environments
- Strong people and organisational skills
- Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma methodology experience
- Root Cause Analysis experience
- Ability to balance strategic projects with operational shop floor involvement
