Working in a days-based role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a range of commercial and industrial refrigeration systems, ensuring maximum reliability and minimal downtime across the site. You will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance, reactive maintenance, fault-finding, and repairs on refrigeration plant and associated equipment, while supporting continuous improvement initiatives to maximise site performance.

Non-Negotiable Requirements:
  • F-Gas Category 1 certification.
  • Refrigeration maintenance experience within a commercial or industrial environment.
  • Hands-on experience with planned, reactive, and breakdown maintenance.
Requirements:
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills on refrigeration systems.
  • Recognised Refrigeration or Air Conditioning qualification (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent).
  • Experience maintaining refrigeration plant, compressors, condensers, evaporators, and associated equipment.
Desirable Requirements:
  • Experience working as a Refrigeration Engineer in the UK.
  • Experience with ammonia, CO2, or other industrial refrigeration systems.
  • Electrical fault-finding experience would be advantageous.
