A fantastic opportunity for a skilled Site Services Engineer to join a well-established manufacturing business in Salisbury. This role involves electrical systems, site utilities, and building services within a fast‑paced production environment.
The successful candidate will maintain and improve site services, ensuring essential systems remain reliable, compliant, and safe. You will carry out planned and reactive maintenance, coordinate contractors, and keep statutory testing and compliance documentation up to date.
You will be responsible for electrical testing and inspection, maintaining utilities such as HVAC, plumbing, and drainage systems, supporting planned preventative maintenance, and responding quickly to minimise downtime.

Non‑Negotiable Requirements- 18th Edition (BS 7671) Electrical Qualification
- 2391 or 2392 Electrical Testing & Inspection
- Experience with building services, facilities maintenance, or site maintenance environments
- Strong understanding of site utilities including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical distribution
- Ability to follow permit‑to‑work procedures and safety compliance standards
- Experience carrying out planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance
- Strong electrical fault‑finding and inspection experience
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Experience working independently and as part of a small engineering team
- Good communication skills when working with contractors and internal departments
- Experience within food manufacturing or FMCG environments
- Experience using CMMS systems (such as Ultimo)
- IPAF / scissor lift certification or willingness to obtain
- Experience supporting continuous improvement or site projects
