We are recruiting for a Production Engineer to join a well-established manufacturing business in Menston. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Production Engineer or Manufacturing Engineer to join a stable production site and play a key role in improving production performance, efficiency and output.

As a Production Engineer, you will work closely with production and engineering teams to identify issues affecting output, improve manufacturing processes and support the ongoing development of production efficiency across the site. The role will involve investigating production problems, analysing performance, identifying opportunities for improvement and supporting the implementation of solutions to improve productivity, reduce downtime and maintain high standards of quality.

Non-Negotiable Requirements for the Production Engineer:

  • Recognised Engineering qualification or completed Engineering Apprenticeship
  • Previous experience working in a production, manufacturing or industrial engineering environment
  • Experience supporting production output, efficiency and equipment performance
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve production issues
  • Ability to work closely with production teams to minimise downtime and maintain output
  • Comfortable working a days-based shift pattern

Requirements for the Production Engineer:

  • Experience monitoring and improving production processes
  • Experience investigating production issues and identifying the root cause of problems
  • Ability to analyse downtime and production performance
  • Ability to identify opportunities to improve production efficiency, reduce waste and increase output
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to work closely with Production, Engineering and other departments
