A standout opportunity has become available for an Engineer Surveyor to join a leading inspection consultancy. Our client is looking for Engineers with a background of working on or with equipment such as forklifts, mobile elevated working platforms, passenger lifts and cranes and looking for something different in their career.

Responsibilities include inspection to identify defects and help prevent potential, avoidable defects, completing detailed reports at client specific sites in Central London, ensuring all customers are compliant with LOLER/PUWAR regulations and providing excellent customer service.

Sector: Inspection (Field Service)

Non‑Negotiable Requirements:

  • Minimum Level 3 Engineering based qualification with a significant level of experience.
  • Hands on experience with or on different pieces of lifting equipment including forklifts, platforms, passenger lifts, cranes, plant equipment (diggers, dumpers), military vehicles or aircraft.

Requirements:

  • Strong mechanical fault-finding skills.
  • Mechanical engineering qualification, NVQ Level 3 or Equivalent with a significant amount of experience working on the machinery.
  • Experience working on or with various pieces of lifting equipment within manufacturing, military, marine, distribution or field service environments.
  • Must live within the M25.

Desirable Requirements:

  • Ideally, HNC (NVQ Level 4) or equivalent qualified.
  • Excellent knowledge of LOLER/PUWAR Regulations.
