A standout opportunity has become available for an Electrical Engineer Surveyor to join a leading inspection consultancy. Our client is looking for an Electrical Engineer to prolong the life and safety of electrical equipment by spotting any potential defects as early as possible and helping make sure everyone goes home safely at the end of the day.

You will be responsible for completing quality assessments and inspections of fixed wiring installations and electrical plant equipment. You will be responsible for carrying out detailed reporting and ensuring customers are compliant with vital regulations that help govern their industry within the UK.

Sector: Inspection (Field Service)

Non‑Negotiable Requirements:

  • Minimum Level 3 Electrical Engineering based qualification.
  • Significant level of practical experience working as a domestic or industrial electrician.

Requirements:

  • Strong electrical background with testing and inspection experience.
  • Electrical engineering qualifications.
  • Ability to communicate complex and technical problems.
  • Must live around the Elgin, Aberdeen or Inverness areas.

Desirable Requirements:

  • Ideally hold a NVQ Level 4 qualification or equivalent.
  • Worked within hazardous environments (COMPEX).
