A leading FMCG manufacturing business is expanding operations with a new facility near Wrexham. As part of a significant growth phase, a major recruitment drive is underway, creating opportunities to join a modern, high-volume processing environment focused on quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
For the Site Service Engineer, we are looking for an experienced individual to take responsibility for site services, facilities, and non-production assets at a large-scale FMCG site. This role is critical to ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant site operations while supporting ongoing growth and infrastructure development.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain and improve site services and non-production assets, including facilities, utilities, and infrastructure.
- Deliver planned and reactive maintenance of buildings and site services via the CMMS, including HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Manage contractors, permits to work, and statutory compliance (e.g. L8, insurance inspections).
- Develop and deliver a site services maintenance strategy.
- Monitor utilities usage and identify energy efficiency and cost-reduction opportunities.
- Ensure GMP standards are upheld across site services and facilities.
- Support site projects and infrastructure improvements.
- Coordinate planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) around production schedules.
- Maintain audit readiness and compliance documentation.
- Experience in site services or facilities management within a manufacturing or food production environment.
- Strong understanding of statutory compliance and contractor management.
- Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on delivery.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Salary of £45,000 per annum.
- Consistent Monday to Friday working pattern.
