Stores Co-Ordinator

Days – Monday-Friday
We re looking for a driven and organised Stores Co-Ordinator to take ownership of engineering stores across two busy manufacturing sites. This is a brand-new role, created to bring structure, organisation, and efficiency to the stores function.
What You ll Be Doing

Taking charge of engineering stores across both the paper mill and converting site

Implementing structure and organisation, ensuring storage areas and cupboards are well maintained

Using SAP (purchasing) and Shire CMMS to manage and control stock

Reviewing and refreshing suppliers, negotiating better deals where possible

Introducing improvements such as min/max stock levels and supplier management
-
Driving a proactive, rather than reactive, stores function
What We re Looking For

Experience in stores management, ideally within a manufacturing environment

A hands-on, proactive approach with excellent organisational skills

Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to build relationships across teams

Confidence in negotiating with suppliers

Health & Safety awareness and a good understanding of 5S principles
