Are you ready to take the next step in your engineering career and play a key role in launching a brand-new production line? We are looking for a Lead Electrical Engineer with a passion for continuous improvement, strong technical ability, and an interest in shaping best practice from day one. This role will involve training new staff technicians to upskill them on the machinery, installation of new machinery, and implementation of a brand new production line. Because the line is completely new, major breakdowns aren’t expected early on. The initial focus will be on establishing robust processes, understanding the equipment, and embedding a strong maintenance culture from the start.
Skills required for the Lead Electrical Engineer:
- Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on new lines
- Applying a continuous improvement mindset to develop and refine processes that increase volume while reducing downtime and waste
- Helping define, test, and establish best practice procedures for the brand-new line
- Ability to train and develop Operators and Technicians
- Strong electrical and mechanical skills
- Must have worked in a manufacturing environment
- An individual who appreciates project work, enjoys influencing and developing new processes, and thrives in environments where continuous improvement is encouraged
