Job Title: Maintenance Manager

A fantastic opportunity which is not to be missed has come to the forefront for a strong Maintenance Manager to join a well-established, fast-paced high-volume manufacturing site. This is an ideal role for a proven engineering leader who enjoys developing people, driving standards, and improving site reliability.
Non-Negotiable Requirements
- Proven man-management / leadership experience within engineering/maintenance
- Strong understanding of engineering maintenance, breakdown management and preventative maintenance best practice
- Electrical understanding (the team has a strong mechanical bias, so you must be able to support the electrical side)
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Requirements for the Maintenance Manager
- Leading day-to-day maintenance operations (reactive + planned) to minimise downtime
- Driving PPM completion, technician performance, and plant availability KPIs
- Coaching and developing engineers and team leaders to improve capability and standards
- Supporting and developing apprentices (up to four) with a strong mentoring approach
- Working cross-functionally with Operations, CI and H&S to deliver site objectives
- Ensuring compliance with statutory/legal requirements and maintaining audit-ready documentation
- Supporting improvement plans focused on waste reduction, efficiency, and performance
