The Role

Working within a fast-paced FMCG environment, you’ll be responsible for a balanced split of Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and Reactive Maintenance, ensuring production lines and machinery run safely, efficiently, and with minimal downtime. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on automated manufacturing and packaging equipment
  • Mechanical fault-finding, repairs, and improvements, with supporting electrical work where required
  • Responding to breakdowns in a time-critical production environment
  • Supporting continuous improvement, reliability, and engineering improvement projects
  • Working closely with production teams to maintain output, safety, and quality standards

This role operates on a Double Days shift pattern (6am–2pm / 2pm–10pm), providing structure and consistency without night shifts.
