Job Role of the Maintenance Team Leader
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a hands-on Maintenance Team Leader to join a state-of-the-art, fully automated manufacturing site. You will be responsible for leading a team of maintenance engineers whilst remaining hands on with electrical and mechanical maintenance, fault-finding, PPMs and breakdowns.
You will lead from the front, supporting the engineering team, coordinating maintenance activities and ensuring maximum machinery uptime and efficiency.

Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Maintenance Team Leader
- Maintenance experience within an industrial manufacturing environment.
- Hands on experience with pre-planned, reactive and breakdown maintenance in a fast paced industrial factory.
- Previous experience leading, supervising or managing a team of maintenance engineers.
- Engineering Qualification
Requirements for the Maintenance Team Leader
- Must be Apprentice Trained
- Recognised engineering qualification.
- Experience working within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience managing or leading a maintenance/engineering team.
- Strong hands on maintenance and fault-finding experience.
- Willingness to remain hands on and support the engineering team with maintenance activities.
Desirable Requirements for the Maintenance Team Leader
- Experience working as a Maintenance Engineer or Maintenance Team Leader in the UK.
- Apprentice Trained
- Experience within a highly automated manufacturing environment.
- Experience with continuous improvement and reliability-focused maintenance.
