We are seeking a proactive, safety-focused engineer who enjoys a varied workload, thrives under pressure, and can work both independently and as part of a strong team.
The Role
You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of all site machinery, carrying out a mix of reactive maintenance and long-term improvement work. Key responsibilities include:
- Carrying out electrical and mechanical maintenance across a range of production and packaging equipment
- Responding to breakdowns quickly and effectively to minimise downtime
- Supporting the introduction and development of a new PPM schedule
- Ensuring safe isolation of equipment in line with legislation and best practice
- Working closely with the Engineering Manager to prioritise tasks
- Participating in engineering and non-engineering projects to support site development
- Providing continuous improvement support to help optimise plant performance
Key Competencies
- Strong electrical bias with mechanical capability

Equipment & Systems Exposure
You’ll work on a range of machinery and components including:
- Motors, sensors, relays
- Bearings, belts, chains, pumps
- Flow wrappers, case packers, graders
- Robots and automated packaging lines
- Control systems, conveyors, and MAF Roda machinery
Shift Pattern
Days & Nights
Week 1: 4 on 4 off (6am – 6pm)
Week 2: 4 on 4 off (6pm – 6am)
Average 42 hours per week
