The Role

You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of all site machinery, carrying out a mix of reactive maintenance and long-term improvement work. Key responsibilities include:

  • Carrying out electrical and mechanical maintenance across a range of production and packaging equipment
  • Responding to breakdowns quickly and effectively to minimise downtime
  • Supporting the introduction and development of a new PPM schedule
  • Ensuring safe isolation of equipment in line with legislation and best practice
  • Working closely with the Engineering Manager to prioritise tasks
  • Participating in engineering and non-engineering projects to support site development
  • Providing continuous improvement support to help optimise plant performance

Equipment & Systems Exposure

You’ll work on a range of machinery and components including:

  • Motors, sensors, relays
  • Bearings, belts, chains, pumps
  • Flow wrappers, case packers, graders
  • Robots and automated packaging lines
  • Control systems, conveyors, and MAF Roda machinery

Shift Pattern

Days & Nights
Week 1: 4 on 4 off (6am – 6pm)
Week 2: 4 on 4 off (6pm – 6am)
Average 42 hours per week
