Are you a hands-on Maintenance Engineer looking to join a thriving FMCG business in a fast-paced, team-focused environment? We\’re recruiting for a proactive and skilled engineer to play a vital role in keeping production running smoothly at our facility in Bala, Gwynedd.
The Role:
Working as part of a multi-skilled maintenance team, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and continuous improvement of production equipment and site facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on a variety of FMCG machinery
- Diagnosing faults and implementing effective solutions to minimise downtime
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the site
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with site compliance standards
- Recording all maintenance activity accurately via CMMS
About You:
We\’re looking for a motivated engineer with a solid background in FMCG, food manufacturing, or a similar fast-paced production environment.
Essential:
- Time-served engineer or relevant Level 3 qualification (e.g., NVQ, HNC)
- Mechanical or electrical bias with multi-skilled ability
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to work Panama shift pattern (days and nights)
Desirable:
- Previous experience in FMCG or food production
- Knowledge of PLCs, conveyors, packaging equipment, or automated systems
