Are you an experienced Maintenance Engineer looking to join a rapidly growing FMCG manufacturing business in the Manchester area, where your skills are valued and genuine career progression is on offer?
We are working with a well-established and expanding manufacturer seeking skilled Maintenance Engineers to support a modern, high-volume FMCG production site in Manchester. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a long-term role within a business investing heavily in people, technology, and future growth.
The Role
Working within a fast-paced FMCG environment, you’ll be responsible for a balanced split of Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and Reactive Maintenance, ensuring production runs safely, efficiently, and with minimal downtime.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out pre-planned maintenance on automated manufacturing and packaging equipment
- Responding to breakdowns and carrying out effective fault-finding in a time-critical environment
- Supporting continuous improvement and reliability initiatives
- Working closely with production teams to maintain output and quality standards
This role operates on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern, rotating Days and Nights, offering a structured rota and competitive earnings.
What We’re Looking For
- Experienced Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical, Electrical or Multi-Skilled)
- Previous experience within FMCG, manufacturing, or automated production environments
