About the Role
As a Maintenance Engineer , you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production facility by performing both reactive and planned maintenance on a variety of equipment. Working on a Panama shift pattern, you will be part of a dynamic team that supports a 24/7 operation in a fast-moving and high-demand environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform reactive maintenance to address breakdowns and minimize downtime.
- Conduct planned preventative maintenance (PPM) to ensure machinery runs efficiently and reliably.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and PLC-related faults.
- Support the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
- Ensure all maintenance work complies with health and safety regulations and company standards.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement solutions to enhance equipment performance and productivity.
- Work collaboratively with production teams to ensure seamless operation.
What We\βre Looking For:
- Experience: Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer in an FMCG, manufacturing, or similar environment.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and PLC systems (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley).
- Qualifications: Relevant engineering qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3, HNC/HND in Engineering, or equivalent).
- Problem-Solving: Analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues effectively.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work Panama shifts, covering days and nights.
- Team Player: Collaborative approach with excellent communication skills.
