Maintenance Engineer
Shifnal
£39,000
Full-Time, Permanent- Day shift
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Engineer to join a busy manufacturing site based in Telford. The site houses both warehouse and production operations and is one of several key locations across the UK.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out a mix of reactive (80%) and planned preventative maintenance (PPM – 20%)
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults, including: Contactors, relays, heated elements, and damaged cables (due to corrosive coolant exposure)
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the factory
- Provide occasional support for external site installations (minimal)
Machinery on Site Includes:
- Lamination machines
- Water treatment systems
- Thermal rate machines
- Paint equipment
- Compressors
- Extrusion lines
Ideal Candidate Will Be:
- Multi-skilled, ideally with an electrical bias
- Qualified in engineering (electrical or multi-discipline)
- Experienced in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Proactive and solution-focused, with a strong understanding of equipment maintenance
