Maintenance Engineer – FMCG

Are you a hands-on Maintenance Engineer looking for a fresh challenge in a fast-paced FMCG environment? We're hiring a proactive and skilled engineer to join our dynamic team at our Bromsgrove site.
About the Role:
As a Maintenance Engineer, you'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production lines. You'll carry out both planned and reactive maintenance, minimise downtime, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform electrical and mechanical maintenance on production equipment
- Respond promptly to breakdowns and diagnose faults
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
- Contribute to process improvement and efficiency projects
- Ensure compliance with health & safety and food safety standards
- Work closely with production teams to ensure equipment availability
? What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience in a similar maintenance role within an FMCG or manufacturing environment
- Strong mechanical and/or electrical fault-finding skills
- Relevant engineering qualifications (e.g., NVQ, City & Guilds, HNC/HND)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility for shift work (if applicable)
