A world renowned food manufacturer based in Aylesbury are currently recruiting for a multi-skilled shift engineer (Electrical or Mechanical Bias) to join their current team. The business is growing massively, despite the current worldwide situation and the growth doesn\’t seem like it is slowing down anytime soon. With large profits over the past 12-months, the investment into the engineering team has nearly doubled and the company are able to offer extensive internal training, many progression opportunities for maintenance engineers and the option to move into a project role. This position will require the successful candidate to perform both planned and reactive maintenance on the production line, mostly dealing with electrical faults although there is a requirement to assist with mechanical maintenance, so the need to be multi‑skilled is essential. You will be working on a rotating days & nights shift pattern, with each shift being 12‑hours. Added with a competitive salary package and many overtime opportunities, there is also a company pension in place.
The Shift Maintenance Engineer will need for this role:
- Multi‑skilled Engineer who is competent electrically and mechanically
- Must hold an electrical engineering qualification (Level 3 minimum)
- Ok working days & nights rotating shift pattern
- Can be from an manufacturing, industrial or armed forces background (RAF, ARMY, NAVY, MARINE ETC)
